What kind of warranty do you offer?
All products have a 12 month return to base warranty unless a longer warranty is specified by the manufacturer. Warranty repair or replacement of goods is done free of charge.
Who do I contact about warranty issues?
Simply contact our Customer
Support department. We will arrange for any servicing issues to be
remedied promptly. We take care of shipping the item to the manufacturers
for repair, and send you the repaired/replaced item/s.
How do I return a product to you?
Every product return must be sent with an RMA number,
this can be obtained from our Customer
Support department. All returns without a current RMA number will
be returned to the sender at his/her expense. We provide you an address
in correspondence to return goods to.
Can I return a product without a fault?
Under the EC Distance Selling Directive, you have the
right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days commencing
the day after the date that the items were delivered. You do not need
to give us any reason for cancelling your contract, nor will you have
to pay any penalty. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have
ordered are viewing cards and their subscription has been started.
To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on a piece of
paper with your order details (a printout of an email will suffice). Package
the items securely and send them to us with the invoice. We request that
you email us at esn@thesatzone.co.uk to tell us that you are returning
goods before you send them. 24 hours' advance warning is required for

We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods
to us unless we delivered the item to you in error.
When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this
order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that
item.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum
debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account
as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order, provided
that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the
condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the
goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be
entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount
to be re-credited to you.
All items stocked and sold by us come with a 12 month
manufacturer warranty unless stated otherwise. All Humax and Topfield
products come with a 24 month manufacturer warranty. (All Topfield products
purchased before Feb 2007 only come with a 12 month manufacturer warrant.
Due to the nature of the product, Subscription viewing
cards are not covered by a warranty unless they are official subscription
cards and these are under warranty for as long as the broadcaster is broadcasting
the programmes the card was intended to receive. The card is NOT covered
if broadcasting stops due to the broadcaster going out of business or
a change in schedules, or if the broadcast infringes UK broadcast law.
If this is the case we are not liable for this action and you have bought
said subscription cards with this knowledge.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU
Distance Selling Directive which can be found at
http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.
Any items that are returned for refund within 14 days
after your initial 7 day cooling off period will incur a 20% restocking
charge. If we have not been notified within your cooling off period that
you wish to return the product to us.
Any items returned for testing that are found to be in
good working order, the customer will be liable for the cost of all postage
incurred.
Do you cover delivery costs for returns?
Customers returning goods as faulty within 7 working days of purchase, will be entitled to refund coverage of their UK postal costs (subject to pre-approval).
Do you charge an inspection fee for non-faulty goods returned?
In exceptional circumstances where goods are returned under warranty for repair/replacement, and show no sign of fault, we may charge a small inspection fee. This will not exceed £15 + VAT + return delivery.
Delivery
We carry 80% of stock for UK next working day delivery, unless otherwise stated on our website. Should there be a delay in sending your order you will be notified by email. In the event of non-delivery, please wait 2 days from the date of your order before contacting us.
Delivery on all items is FREE OF CHARGE for orders over £10.00 throughout mainland UK only regardless of quantity.
