 Despite being highly popular, many aren't aware of the exiting hardcore adult offerings available outside the UK. The Equipment
Most pan-European adult channels broadcast from a satellite called Hot Bird. To gain access, you'll need an 80cm satellite dish and a digital receiver with an on-board Viaccess or Irdeto smartcard reader. Irdeto and Viaccess are types of encryption used by the broadcaster's to protect their pay services, access is provided with a valid smartcard. Sky Digiboxes have a VideoGuard smartcard reader and are therefore not compatible with pan-European pay-TV adult channels.
Confident DIYers can install the equipment with the aid of
satellite installation tools - for example a signal meter and compass. Alternatively, many aerial and satellite installers can be located in the Yellow Pages. Ensure you book a
CAI registered installer.
We stock a variety of adult TV smartcards (see below). These are pre-paid cards which run for the duration of the subscription.
All hardware is yours to keep, and is covered by a 2 year warranty.
If you intend to use multiple cards, you can either swap them in and out of the card reader, or invest in a receiver with 2 or more card readers. A receiver with on-board CI (Common Interface) slot/s can accept a suitable CAM module. This piece of hardware provides a further smartcard reader.
